This is a fun way to for any trip, groceries, sinking funds or whatever you have going on. With this challenge you will need a die in order to play and save.
What you get:
1 Laminated savings challenge
1 dashboard
1 envelope to store your savings
How to play:
On the savings challenge board you will see some denominations ($1 - $6) going up the board. At the bottom you will have your dice numbers 1 - 6. Then you have multiple boxes that are either red (add) or blue (multiply). You will work your way up the board which is indicated by the red arrow in the middle.
Roll a die. Whatever you roll, go to that column of the die. Once you get to that column, you will have a box colored either red or blue. You would take the number die you rolled and either multiply or add it to the number that corresponds going up the challenge. Wright that number in the box and roll again. Keep rolling and adding until all the boxes have been completed.
For example:
If you are starting the challenge for the first time and you roll a 3. Go to the 3 dice indicated on the challenge board. Above the 3 dice is a red box. Red means you add what you rolled (3) to the denomination on the left (which is $1) and you will save a total of $4. Write the amount saved ($4) in the red box and stuff that amount.
If you were to roll again and you get another 3. Go to that 3 indicated by the dice on the challenge board. The next box up is colored blue. Since it is blue you will multiply what you rolled (3) by the denomination to the left in that row (which is $2) and you would save $6. Write the amount saved ($6) in the blue box and save $6.
This is a laminated challenge so you can clean it off with alcohol and start over again
Happy savings!
